WOW! Good beer Great bottle, Cool website, Great Grolch pop top cap! There is a long dry bitter flavour with this beer. It seems to get much smoother as it warms, with no hint of fruit, except some slight Mango; no idea where that came from.This Brewrey looks like a cool place to visit. Since 1862, the top-fermenting house brewery UERIGE has been brewing delicious beers right in the heart of Düsseldorf‹s old city center, the Altstadt, in close proximity to the promenade along the River Rhine embankment. It goes without saying that these beers are brewed according to the »Reinheitsgebot«, the Purity Law dating back to 1516. Your visit to the Altstadt is not complete if you miss out on visiting the UERIGE. Beer connoisseur Michael Jackson has voted the ALT beer, made of the finest natural ingredients, with the highest possible ranking, i.e. four stars ****, but the homemade WEIZENBIER, wheat beer, also has a lot of fans. Twice a year (on the third Tuesday in February and October), the legendary STICKE, a strong beer with an alcohol content of 6% abv (alcohol by volume), is served only on this very day. Of course, the UERIGE not only offers excellent beers, but also has the matching hearty nibbles on offer as well as specials of the day that vary according to the season of the year.
